The largest creature ever to live, the blue whale averages 25 feet (7.6 meters) long at birth and weighs about three tons. As an adult, it can easily stretch to the length of a city bus and weigh close to 200 tons. I went on an Alaskan cruise with my family when I was like…12 and I was terrified a grown one of these would come out and tackle our ship in the middle of the night. We were on a boat. We were in ITS house. IT HAD THE RIGHT TO DO THAT AND THAT TERRIFIED ME!
