Ok…I can see that. Most of the people who bend now are criminals from the looks of things. But at the same time, this is like…genetics. People can’t help being benders. What might be most important is to enforce a bending etiquette class in all schools or something.
This reminds me a lot of Rurouni Kenshin. End of the Samurai era, things were peaceful and these men were trained to kill. End of the war, there was no place for them anymore. So, in that situation, YEAH! There’s no place for you! But even then the art could be preserved to understand it at the least.
I’m looking WAY to into this. Like, as if it were a real thing. You guys know what I’m saying though.
Technically speaking, the equalists are right. The benders DO oppress normal type peoples a LOT. But I mean, I feel like this is the equivalent of racism in the Avatar world.
